Quarry Production Role 

We’re looking for someone with high energy and initiative to join our quarry team operating in the Thames Valley. 

The role is varied and includes operating and maintaining our crushing and screening plant, rigid and articulated haul trucks, loaders, and excavators. Heavy equipment experience is preferable but not essential as on-the-job training will be provided.

Customer Services Administrator

About the role

H.G. Leach & Co have an opportunity for a Customer Services champion to join their team. This is a busy role full of variety. On a day-to-day basis you will be the first point of contact for their customers providing outstanding support and ensuring their needs are being met every time. You will be responsible for a wide range of general administrative tasks, including Reception; backing up the sales team; invoicing; data entry; drafting quotes and supporting all levels of the business.

About you

Your sense of humour, ability to juggle multiple balls at any one time and ability to think outside the box will be key to your success in this role. You will be highly organised and computer literate with strong communication skills, an eye for continuous improvement, and the ability to implement new systems and processes. 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Finance and Support Administrator

  • Based in Paeroa 
  • Monday to Friday 

The Role

H.G. Leach & Co now have an exciting opportunity for a switched on, motivated finance administrator to join their team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will be responsible for financial processing including accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly and annual reconciliations, General Ledger maintenance, month end accruals, reversal and journals. There will also be some general administration duties required.

In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing information reporting systems, ensuring these and associated reporting meets business requirements and are accurate and timely. 

About you

We are looking for someone who is systems savvy, has an eye for continuous improvement and confident to introduce and implement new processes or sharpen up existing ones. Key to your success in this role will be your sense of humour and ability to adapt to the environment. 

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Sound knowledge of accounting concepts with a minimum of 2 years accounts experience. 
  • Relevant Payroll and Accounts Payable/Receivable experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 with advanced Excel skills 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to relate to various levels of personnel  
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage your time
  • High attention to detail 
  • Team focus with a willingness to assist others
  • The ability to be proactive, use your initiative and deliver results
